I've been busy

I've been busy and haven't written in my blog recently. We finally did our Neolithic pot firing weekend as well as Robin James Sullivan who made a fine replica of a Hembury bowl. We built a kiln, made and fired pots around a hearth. We all had a brilliant time and learned a huge amount about the properties of gabbro clay. Since coming back I have started to write up the activities of the weekend,  the 'project' and started to write an article that I have always wanted to write-A Social Biography of the Hembury bowl. This is a slow process for me and will take a few months from start to finish. I might even have a publisher :D
